The Cirella
Family - Nearly 50 Years of Serving You
Sal Cirella opened his first restaurant in New York City more than four
decades ago. With his mother’s inspiration and recipes in hand, as well
as her stories of growing up in Sicily, Sal gave his customers not only
sumptuous Italian cuisine, but the ambiance of a Tuscan evening and
warmth of a home-style meal as well. In 1987, joined by his son Dean
Cirella,
Sal brought his restaurant to Melville, Long Island, where the
father-and-son team has perpetuated the unique dining experience that is
Cirella’s.
With the addition of a second generation has come many new and exciting
dishes to complement the superb traditional Italian specialties that
have made their name famous for generations of Long Island diners. As
has been the case for nearly 50 years, we’re sure that once you experience
the authentic Italian flavor of Cirella’s — for lunch or dinner — you’ll

“alla familia”…one of the family.
